Durafoam™, Bondaflex
Monmouth Rubber & Plastic Corp. manufactures a comprehensive
line of cellular and solid products under the tradenames:
Durafoam™ Closed Cell Sponge Rubber & Plastic Foam -
Proprietary closed cell products made in densities as low as 1.5
pounds per cubic foot and as high as densities of 55 pounds per
cubic foot. Durafoam™ is made from natural rubber, most
of the commercially available synthetic rubbers, and many of the
plastic and plastic-like resins available today.
Superbounce™ High Performance Rubber Blends - Superbounce™
is made in a variety of densities and compression deflection ranges.
Superbounce™ is used where high performance and superior physicals
are required. The tensile, elongation, and recovery of the Superbounce™
series put these materials in a performance class with few equals.
Bondaflex™ Recycled Rubber & Plastic Composites; both
Cellular and Solid - Approximately 95% of all surplus and
scrap materials that Monmouth Rubber & Plastics generates
is recycled. The primary selling point of Bondaflex™ is
its ability to offer high density (pounds per cubic foot) at a
cost effective price. Bondaflex™ is used in high performance
footwear, federally specified expansion joint applications, and
industrial components requiring high density with low costs such
as underpadding for playground equipment. An additional advantage
of the Bondaflex™ process is that Monmouth Rubber &
Plastics will consider recycling customer scrap including materials
not manufactured by us.
