Monmouth Rubber & Plastics Corp. has been in business since
1964. It is a company that is family owned - professionally
managed. Our people are the resource and the engine that gives
life and direction to our company. Each manager is required
to spend approximately 20% of their time meeting with suppliers
and customers. This enables each manager and key employee under
them to experience first hand the concept of customer oriented,
market driven, management principals. In short, it affords them
the beneficial experience gained by listening one-on-one to
customer needs.
Monmouth Rubber & Plastics Corp. employs approximately 35
people. Monmouth has no union and maintains what it believes
to be a good to excellent relationship with each of its employees.
70% of Monmouth's employees have been with the company for over
10 years.
John M. Bonforte, Sr.
President & General Manager

 Attended Monmouth
College majoring in Accounting with a minor in Business Administration.
He was a member of the National Guard Army Reserves and received
his commission as a Second Lieutenant.
Mr. Bonforte started his business career at Rubatex Corp., the
largest closed cell rubber and plastic manufacturer in the U.S.
In 1967, he left Rubatex® to operate Monmouth Rubber
Corp. as President and General Manager.
He is married to Barbara Bonforte who teaches in the Rumson
School system. They have four grown children - Kristin and Scott
run the family food business, Kelly Ann teaches in Rumson and
John Jr. has joined the Monmouth Rubber & Plastics Team.
They also have four grandchildren.
Jo Ann Buonomo
Office Manager

 Jo Ann Buonomo is the office manager and administrative
assistant to John M. Bonforte Sr. She is the “go to gal”
at Monmouth Rubber. She has been with Monmouth for over 29 years.
Jo Ann does purchasing, credit, marketing support and just about
any other task to service Monmouth's customer base. As with
all other Monmouth employees, she is cross trained in all areas
of the business.
She is available to handle any customer request. Jo Ann's extension
is # 11.

M. Bonforte, Jr. is a direct company sales representative and
travels on behalf of Monmouth Rubber & Plastics worldwide.
As a direct company representative and family member, John Jr.
offers to Monmouth’s customers the reassurance that Monmouth
will do whatever is in the best interest of its customers and
not be influenced by the complicated matrix of sales representation
and management that often exists within larger competitors.
This team of
highly trained, young enthusiastic people gives dimension depth and continuity to Monmouth
Rubber & Plastics Corporation as it moves forward in the 21st Century.
